I got most of the help I needed with Dropbox. Still need two referrals though: db.tt/SmKAt3dN
On to the main events: This month's V-Jump. Pictures for everything are at the bottom of the journal.
A little tidbit before we get started here. Dragon Ball Kai is officially confirmed to be returning to Japanese television with the Buu Arc, which will be replacing Toriko. I suppose that once it's released in the US, I'll finally have a reason to buy Kai. Before, I didn't feel like purchasing an incomplete product, but now I don't really have a valid excuse. Hopefully they'll do some nice economy box sets that I can pick up.
The main reason for the journal is Heroes JM3 information. To be more specific, the avatars new designs have been revealed (albeit in mediocre quality for now). You'll need an account to view the video, and it's not great quality, but it is the only source for the group right now: www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm22931…
You can see some of the bigger details: Kagyu has new armor, Froze has changed colors, Kabra's new armor is no longer mostly red, Note seems to have a new style of SS3 eyebrow, and SS3 Beat looks as expected (but is drawn terribly). I rather save the bulk of my opinions for something better quality though.
You can see more details of the images now, but still not overly great. Right now, I have more images than I do information of what is going on with the avatars or who I assume to be Abra...or maybe an Abra-Kabra fusion? Hell I don't know. Image is below, drag to a new tab to see it at full size.
We also have a new character name for Victory Mission thanks to Julian over at Kanzenshuu: "In Victory Mission, we get ourselves an Elite-type Freeza Clan Avatar named "Rezok" (レゾック), presumably from "reizōko" (refrigerator). Also, Beserk is back and evil, and Beat goes SSJ3." I've added Rezok to the master list of Heroes names: the-devils-corpse.deviantart.c…
That leaves us with just 3 names left to go:
- Majin Elite
- Namekian Elite
- Freeza Clan Berserker
Oh...and I forgot, kei over at Kanzenshuu was able to post up a decent quality picture of the magazine's surprise: Super Saiyan 3 Vegetto confirmed! His special technique is the Spirit Excalibur.
The fact that it is this early would imply that he's not the SEC either (though they could pull a Bebi on us). Tiny note though; seems we have a discrepancy. The game has Vegetto with only one bang, and all the art so far has him with two. Interesting.
